We want you to get the care you deserve.

About Our Practice

Colleen Reichmann, PsyD

Dr. Colleen Reichmann founded Wildflower Therapy in 2016 with the belief that everyone who struggles with their body or food in any way deserves a safe place to heal and rediscover the colorful parts of life.

Therapy should feel like a haven of sorts - a place where it’s safe to say the hard things. A place where you can learn actual skills to utilize out there in the bright (sometimes scary) world. A place to cry, but also – a place to laugh.

You should feel like your therapist actually *likes* you! You should feel deeply cared for. That is part of what makes therapy healing.

The practice has slowly but surely expanded since 2016. We are now a small crew of therapists who care. We are *those* therapists - the ones who genuinely adore the people we work with. We know from personal experience how it feels to struggle with food and body image. And we have a shared passion for helping others dig their way out of the same hole we were in. We also have experience working in many other areas of mental health, including mood issues, trauma, maternal mental health, and mental health issues specific to college students and athletes.

A Safe, Welcoming Space

Welcoming office space at Wildflower Therapy

We are body-affirming providers. We celebrate bodies of all sizes and do not believe that we (or anyone else) can determine your health by looking at you. Our seating is accommodating for folks across the size spectrum.

We are also proudly queer affirming and trauma-informed. We believe that our intersecting identities are innately important to who we are as human beings. Your unique identity, which includes race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, socioeconomic status, ability, sexual orientation, religion, and immigrant/refugee status is beyond important to us, and we will hold space for all of you when you are in our office.

We are also a member of the Project HEAL Healers Circle. We provide pro-bono eating disorder therapy to select Project HEAL treatment grant recipients in need. Please see Project HEAL’s website to inquire more about applying for support.

We are licensed to provide therapy to clients residing in PA, NJ, DE, FL, MA, VA, and VT, as well as students living in these states (even if your parents live elsewhere).

Fees & Payment

We value confidentiality and therefore do not participate directly in any managed care plans.

Additionally, in order to work through complex mental health issues, such as eating disorders, accountability and support in between appointments can be necessary. We utilize the “Recovery Record” app with many of our clients to ensure continuity of care in between sessions. We have found that many clients can and will achieve full recovery when offered a comprehensive model of treatment, hence we consider this service to be important for many. All of this to say, unlike many other therapists, our session fee accounts for between-session contact throughout the week.

Also, if you have an insurance plan that includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to use it for our services!

While we will collect fees directly from you, we can then provide billing statements and appropriate paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most of the clients that we work with are able to get reimbursed for 50-70% of the session fee this way.
